Hockey

Our hockey

Three of us by the pitch-side rail in front of a covered stand in the sunshine, one in purple Durham University hockey kit with the other two behind.

Hockey is a big part of family life, and it runs from Preston Hockey Club, which has been at the heart of Lancashire hockey since 1903, to Durham University Hockey Club.

Durham is one of the strongest university programmes in the country, playing BUCS on Wednesdays and England Hockey League at weekends, so there are plenty of fixtures to follow.

Whatever the weather, sunshine by the stand or rain on the rail, we’re there. This is where the match reports, big results and warm-up photos will live.
